Greetings. My name is Yessia. My partner is Gabriel. We both have been managing a community house in the city for the past 2.5 years, and hosting quarterly resource sharing and community building events. Through this process of managing a community home and being community leaders and event organizers we found that we strongly value compassionate & clear communication, respect for one another and the earth, integrity, and whole-being health.

We are dreaming of a simpler life, since we both tend to lean towards introversion with energy for only occasional socializing. But we still want to live with community, where we can continue to share meals, inspiration, and laughter. We are calling in the land that wants to be stewarded by us and the community who wants to build with us.

We both feel revitalized by working with the earth and with animals! And there’s still so much to learn so it would be beautiful to have the opportunity to step into a community that we can learn from and work side by side with.

Our dream is to live in harmony with community and the earth, to offer retreats and healing circles, and to grow and live in peace. And be an example in the world for what is possible!

We are looking for a living opportunity in nature, away from the city. Hopefully two rooms, or a yurt and a room (or something similar). Woodshop space needed. Possibility of Gabriel supporting carpentry work. Possibility of Yessia facilitating spiritual guidance and/or plant/animal therapy work. Intentionality to thrive together in all the ways is at the forefront. Both interested in gardening & land stewarding. 

I (Yessia) am a spiritual guide and non-hallucinogenic ceremony facilitator (Kambo, Cacao, Rappeh/Tobacco). I have students (often in person but also by phone) and clients (for ceremonies or soul guidance – phone or in person). I am sharing an office in SE Portland so I would be able to go into town occasionally to see people in person.

I am arranging my schedule to live outside the city, spending more time with animals and the earth. I am also a budding medicine gardener (dong quai, mugwort, mint, borage). I have a background in community events, space holding, and personal guidance/counsel. I have also often co-hosted and organized for retreats and circles.

Gabriel is a skilled carpenter and woodworker. He works from home in the woodshop making tools for a ceremonial life (instruments, tea tables, meditation tools), and a couple days a week has been working for a friend with his carpentry and handyman projects. He is also a budding musician (handpan, didjeridoo, flute). Gabriel has a background in beekeeping, massage therapy, and teaching yoga.

Currently Gabriel and I are facilitating monthly peace promotion circles in which we all learn tools for compassionate communication and community conflict resolution. We also have a much larger project called Sacred Heart Alliance in which we are connecting humble and heart centered artists, visionaries, & ceremony facilitators who are in service to collective evolution through love. We are building this network nationally and this internationally, through direct in person relationships rather than online networking.

We also have two sweet indoor-outdoor cats and a friendly and sometimes boisterous dog who is part kangaroo! 🙂
