Hi, I am presently on the Coast of Maine, working at a Performance Arts Barn that was formerly a working farm founded by a Zen teacher. The host contacted me through HelpX, and I have been here since June. We have a wonderful relationship, and he is partly why I am updating my profile, as he advised me to “ask for what I want.”

Here goes: I have been told that I am a healer. I don’t know how this manifests, but it resonates. When people share from their hearts, when they share what is real and true for them, I feel present and engaged. In fact, it feels these moments are when I feel most deeply connected. When I ask people deep questions, I feel my heart open as they begin to answer.

I feel a deep connection with horses. While I only have about 7 and a half months or so months of official experience with them, all of which came when I worked at a ranch from in San Diego from October 2021 to June of 2022, I have felt a deep connection with them throughout the entirety of my life. However, I don’t find myself coming to life with joy when I think of training them for something; I feel my heart come to life when we are able to just be, allowing the spontaneity of each moment to organically unfold.

I do not know what self-realization is, but I do know that realization of the Self, Liberation, Enlightenment, whatever this may be, is what I am here for. There is not a sage, mystic, or single human being on this planet who I am not willing to learn from and don’t actively try to see as a teacher. There is not a text I am unwilling to read or hear discussed.

That being said, I am also at a place where I am beginning to explore being true, which is to say, I won’t smile when it’s not real, I won’t laugh when it’s fake, at least not when I’m conscious of these things. I want to live in a space where all boundaries are dropped; where it’s safe to allow truth, in its fullness, to blossom. I am not interested in pretense or show or putting on a front, but I still see myself do these things. I am working on creating a space where I don’t.

I am a 33 year-old, able bodied individual who is here to work out all of the above. For me, I am, at the deepest sense, homeless, but at the same time, I feel the entire earth is my home. This means, if I sound like someone you would like to be where you are, I won’t be coming with somewhere to go back to. That being said, that’s not overly fear-inducing for me, partly because I know of so many people already who will happily welcome me, should I choose to show up. I will be ok. You aren’t committed to having to keep me around; the second it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work for you. I will be with you exactly as long as nature intends. It can be no other way!

I feel abundant and am always given what’s needed. Presently, I have less than $1000 to my name. I would be looking to serve in exchange for food and a space to sleep. Naturally, I don’t need very much.

I am not a handyman but am willing to learn whatever you are willing to show me. I am not above any work. I tend to feel connected to animals, people and all of life, in general. Also, being around me means you will be engaged truly and deeply. I do not care what you do; I care about observing the truth of who you are. If any of this sounds interesting or engaging to you, feel free to reach out.  Regardless, if you have read this far, thank you for being the wonderful, unique manifestation of life that you are!
