Are you the right person or couple to join our protective pod? Fabulous, loving family seeking full-time live-in caregiver to join our strict quarantine bubble and help with the work and fun. We are a couple in our 50s & 60s, both with cooperative living experience, now caring for our two adult children with disabilities (M and F, 30s) in a beautiful, large, single-family home. Shared work in shifts includes personal care (no lifting), cooking, cleaning, medication support, physical therapy, exercise, and entertainment. We are high risk for complications of COVID-19 and looking for someone willing & able to observe strict use of masks, social distancing in public, etc. Experience with cooperative living, cognitive disabilities, motor challenges, learning disabilities, and mood disorders desirable but not required. A love of crafts, computers, and/or politics a plus. You must be a centered person who can handle moodiness without taking it too personally. Pay, time off, and schedule negotiable. Also there is a possibility of you living in our son’s apartment in a nearby cohousing community, while he lives with us during COVID.
