The BIPOC Intentional Community Council was formed out of the Foundation for Intentional Community in 2020 when there was a clear need to create a space that focused on the needs and visions of people of color in and forming intentional community. BIPOC ICC has been invited by Twin Oaks to present at the conference, but we are needing support in getting there. The conference will allow the BIPOC ICC board to have an in-person gathering time for their organizational visioning process, and will also invite BIPOC ICC in sharing their offerings to the wider Twin Oaks community. BIPOC ICC is calling in funds to have this experience feel reciprocal. Funds will cover travel stipends for our members, ticketing costs, food costs, and staff time.
