I’m looking for partners in an AirBnB business. In a nutshell, I want to create an eco-village where up to four families will run a small homestead farm (keep some animals and grow fruits and vegetables) along with an AirBnB business of up to 16 houses.
I wanted to put an ad up here to gauge interest in a plan like this. I would primarily be contributing capital and playing an active role in the planning of this business. My plan would be to purchase 50 – 100 acres of serene land in the South, with a plan to build 20 eco-friendly, beautifully crafted 2-3 bedroom homes. The houses would be constructed of rammed earth or other natural materials, harmonizing with nature while offering modern comforts, such as solar power and Starlink internet. The AirBnBs would be marketed to city dwellers looking for a remote getaway, and remote workers seeking a month-long retreat amidst tranquility.
Here is where partners come in. One to four homes would be dedicated to resident hosts, potentially families, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations such as welcoming guests, cleaning, etc.
While I am committed to funding the land acquisition and construction materials, I’m looking for partners possessing the skills and passion for building sustainable homes, managing land clearing, and creating pathways. The idea would be to build one home first, and see how it performs on AirBnb. If it does well, we can continue building.
We’re not just building homes; the idea is to build a self-sustaining community in nature. Profits will be divided via a shares system. Every contributor earns shares in the business, proportionate to their involvement and effort. Interested? Think you know someone who might be? Do you have any advice or thoughts about the idea? Please reach out!
