Rooms Available In A Lush 8 Acre BIPOC + LGBTQ Friendly Community

We have 3 rooms available for rent in a tranquil area of town on the Eastside of Olympia. There are 7 bedrooms in the “main house” (one is an office, the other three are occupied). Large kitchen and pantry, large covered deck, 2 bathrooms, chickens, organic farm and gardens, compost, a few RVs and tiny houses, and authentic inipi and medicine wheel on eight wooded acres of beautiful land, close to everything; College street, Yelm Highway, the Chehalis Western Trail, and I-5. Each room is $600/month per room ($100 extra for double occupancy), and includes utilities and WIFI. $100/mo rent reduction for 8hrs of work-trade is available for those interested, making rent $500/mo for a single occupant.

The other bedrooms are occupied by 2 groups of parents both with children under 6 (that attend school away Mon-Fri), for a total of 3 kids in the main house (5, 3, + newborn in Mar). There is another family that lives in their RV on the property that have an additional 2 kids ages 11 and 7. As you can see, we are a family-friendly community, so if you’re intolerant to children you may not be happy here. Our ideal housemates enjoy interacting with, teaching, babysitting, and otherwise being around children.

Coming together to foster family and community in this time is our primary vision. As the saying goes, “it takes a village…”

This is a house share and Community as well as a newly developing Cooperative with active and ongoing revenue streams. Prospective tenants that could develop new revenue for the community or who may want to operate their existing venture(s) from our community are encouraged to apply. Our Cooperative is working toward cultivating awakened consciousness, cultural sharing, tribe-like community, and self-sustainability. We value diversity, transparency, cooperation, and celebration; and are inclusive of all walks of life.

New tenants are not automatically part of the co-op, but if there is a good fit, will be given the chance to join after 3 months. If interested, tell us a little about yourself in an email response and if we’re a good fit, we will send you an application. All potential tenants will be interviewed and a background/reference check will be conducted. We are 420 friendly, but strongly against street drugs and excessive alcohol.

Occupancy is available March 2021. Month to Month. Refundable security deposit is the same as 1 month rent.
