I am seeking a nanny for my son who is 2.5 years old. He is funny, smart, and oh so cute. We have worked hard to establish routine and boundaries in our home and a lot of love. I am searching for someone who can commit to a year (it’s Hawaii so shouldn’t be that hard of a sell? haha)

I will provide a private room in our house, food, utilities, wi-fi, laundry, and access to my car. As well as joining into family day trips to all the fun things on the Big Island. In return I require nanny services for 25-30 hours a week. The hours will typically be about 24 hours and will never exceed 30 hours a week no work hours on the weekend. This will give plenty of time to explore the island. We can provide a car to get around if not already in use, and are happy to take along on trips to the beach etc.

We are happy to consider parents with children. This would be an especially helpful position for single parent or a younger person just starting out. This would also be a great opportunity to later become a community member.

Veda Homestead is on 3 acres and we have a ton of fruit trees, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats. We are 100% off grid on solar and catchment. We are working on being self sustaining with food as well. Oh and did I mention were are in Hawaii!!?? 😉
