Likely location: Ravenna neighborhood (5251 12th Ave NE

Description of house:

The house is on three floors plus a basement. The main floor consists of the kitchen, large living room offset from a substantial dinning room by sliding pocket doors. The whole main floor has wainscoting. All 4 levels have beautiful hardwood floor. 2 full baths. One 3/4 bath in basement.

4 bedrooms are on the second floor and two additional bedrooms are on the third floor allowing a large measure of privacy. One bedroom is located below the main level. Each bedroom features hardwood floor, high ceiling, ample closet space, and plenty of natural light thanks to its large windows.

Our ideal home will:

-have a shared community vision that embraces intersectional, abolitionist concepts of pleasure activism, micro as macro, and transparent communication with clear boundaries. Logistically, these concepts would help us build a supportive, nurturing non-nuclear family that is supportive of children+fur babies, sex/kink positive, queer + bipoc affirming, and able to listen +communicate + adjust when community needs change.

-Be dog friendly (but may have a limit on total number of dogs allowed. Dog must be safe around both kids and other dogs. I have an old mutt and we are hoping to adopt a dog within the next year or so).

-Kid friendly (there will be a toddler in the house. My partner and I don’t have kids yet, but we would love to help with shared childcare responsibilities like babysitting! I’m interested registering as a foster parent within the next few years).

-Have established method for shared chores/house responsibilities.

-Share meals

-Fellow queerdos!

-Consensus decision-making

-Equity based payments for house stuff (if I make more, I should pay more)

-Outdoor space + a garden

-have designated workout/band practice space in the attached garage potentially
