Looking for a fabulous human to share a unique home in a vibrant, avocado-filled cohousing community!

The Home:
The Palace of Joy is a warm, welcoming 4-bedroom, 2-bath home located in Tierra Nueva—a collaborative cohousing community nestled in an avocado orchard. The plan is to share the home with three awesome humans (including you!) and one sweet dog named Lucky.

The Room:

• Private bedroom (upstairs, south-facing)
• Approx. 20′ x 12′ with cork flooring, multiple windows, and a large closet
• Unfurnished, but if you act quickly, you may be able to purchase the existing furniture from my current roommate
• Shared bathroom with one other upstairs resident
• Access to an additional bathroom downstairs

Rent & Details:

• $1,200/month, includes gas, internet, electricity, water, and garbage
• Optional reserved carport for $100/month
• Month-to-month lease beginning June 1
• Security deposit: $500
• First and last month’s rent due at move-in

You’ll also enjoy shared access to:

• Kitchen, living room, and patio
• All Tierra Nueva common facilities, including:
  • Common House with reservable guest rooms
  • Community kitchen and dining room
  • Library, media room, and art/yoga/dance studio
  • Playground, veggie garden, and workshop
  • Acres of green space and dozens of fruit trees (including avocados!)

About Us:
We’re friendly, down-to-earth folks who value community, cooperation, and good vibes. Lucky the dog is mellow and loves company, so pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note:

• Yard is not fenced
• Doors are often open, so any pet must be well-socialized, chill, and able to stay close to home.
