The Wise Acres Community is a cohousing neighborhood in Kitsap County, started in 1990.  We steward most of the land together, while each maintaining our own home. 

In Wise Acres, we gather for community dinners and other events. We tend a shared garden, common house, hot tub & sauna. We look out for each other, make decisions by consensus, and each take on a community job. The community is walking distance from the shore in a friendly town.

A 1-bedroom apartment is available. The apartment is the daylight basement below the main level of the house. The kitchen/living/dining room has a large picture window and natural light from above. The bedroom has an attached bathroom and a modest walk-in closet. Adjoining the full kitchen is a separate storage / laundry room. At about 600 sq ft, the apartment works great for a smaller household. 

In addition, there’s a room available in the main part of the house. The common spaces in the house are shared, including the kitchen/dining room and sun-lit living room with wood stove. The bedroom has windows on two sides and an attached bathroom.
