Your land or home perhaps?

Taking refuge in the sangha means putting your trust in a community of solid members who practice mindfulness (loving awareness) together. You do not have to practice intensively—just being in a sangha where people are happy, living deeply the moments of their days, is enough. Each person’s way of sitting, walking, eating, working, and smiling is a source of inspiration; and transformation takes place without effort. – Thich Nhat Hahn

“Little Ashram Nature Sanctuaries: Co-Living on Purpose”  is an evolving vision of eco-spiritual, residential, co-living sanghas of kindred yoga and meditation practitioners.  The primary intention is to contribute to the growing unified energetic field of love, peace and harmony across the planet. I’d love to meet like minded, mature souls to live, practice and play together, in a beautiful natural setting. And to support others in doing the same. I imagine us developing a network with helpful resources and inspirations.

It is wonderful to sense the growing number of focused meditators and light workers on the planet. The benefits are becoming increasingly recognized: https://disturbmenot.co/meditation-statistics/  Living together makes practicing together easier and enriches our intimacy with self, other and world. As well as supporting us in developing skills in realizing more unified, non dual consciousness and true happiness. I’m open to the steps that emerge along the way, as others show up and we find our way together in this dynamic Great Mystery.

I’m posting this to energize this vision- collective and personal- and see who it attracts. I’d love to hear if you live in- or imagine living in-  such a home sanctuary?  Do you have a home or land that would be well suited for such an “experiment” with co-living on purpose.

I am well aware that being ready to engage with others in such an intimate exploration requires experience,  maturity, and Presence. For example, I believe there are several qualities that may be necessary to progress, including: 1) Take full responsibility for our experience and self care. 2) Any judgment of other is a reflection of a part of ourselves that likely needs compassion, love and integration. 3) Generosity of spirit;  fully receive from all that we give. 4) Patience & compassion with ourselves and each other as we become more skillful and liberated, and continue to learn from our human shortcomings  5) Significant love and faith in life and fellow humans 6) Humility and willingness to keep learning and accept that change is constant 7) Good foundation of communication skills, including making requests when we have an unmet need. 8) What would you add or modify to this list?

And clearly there are basic practical aspects of compatibility of living and practicing together. A helpful next step will be coming up with a questionnaire that helps “match” folks up.

My personal home vision- For forty years  (I’m 69) I have loved practicing yoga, meditation, dance, creativity, music, hiking, camping etc. I value solo and shared practice. For twenty years I lived in various communities and co-living households.  For the last 20 years, my one bedroom home in Prescott, AZ. has provided a spiritual sanctuary, for myself and others.  I feel ready and willing to explore living with others again. I’m open to manifesting this in Prescott (I imagine we would first rent a space together)  and am also open to moving to another nature rich community, preferably in the western US.  Ideally someone would already own the home and land. Or we can pool resources to manifest a new place.

I love living in Beauty with others who want to practice meditation, Yoga, QiGung, dance together, contribute to rebuilding our earth soil gardens and human biome/optimal health.  I am vegan- and enjoy cleanliness, light footprint, energy conservation, clutter free, voluntary simplicity, Feng Shui.  I’m open to a year round home, as well as a summer home that includes “glamping”. Ideal would be enough land to include community spaces and private studios, with river, creek or lake for seasonal swimming. I facilitate somatic, nature based dance, yoga and meditation and offer personalized healing sessions.

If this vision- the larger collective network and/or my personal home vision-  resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.  I will respond to sincere, open hearted, positive/constructive communication.  Thanks for reading!  And thanks to all who provided the images online, included here.  The first two photos are of moi.

I would love to hear from you!  Have a beautiful day!!  Infinite Love & Light- Chandra
