Hi everyone,

I’m a single mom who deeply values privacy, nature, and safe space for both kids and pets (aka fur babies). Apartment living isn’t an option for us — we need land, fresh air, and community that feels supportive instead of crowded.

I know many intentional communities and homesteads exist, but often they aren’t designed with single moms and pets in mind. I’d love to either:

• Join an existing homestead/co-housing setup that welcomes families like ours,
• Or connect with other single moms (or allies) who dream of creating one.

What I’m envisioning:

• Each family has their own private cottage/tiny home (real privacy).
• Dogs are welcome as family members.
• Shared outdoor space where kids and pets can roam safely.
• Light communal support (gardens, carpool, meal swaps), but with respect for independence.
• A place where resilience and healing can flourish in nature, especially for those of us rebuilding our lives.
