Likeminded People in Colorado

As 99% of intentional communities fail, we are taking this step by step slowly.
Collaborate to explore and discuss the grand vision for the future. See if we can attract more people to the community based on our plans and values… we get to explore psychology, Jung, enneagram, spirituality, etc.

The ultimate goal is to create something between the standard “residential treatment center” and the more free-flowing “spiritual retreat center”. It’s a kind of hybrid that’s neither and both. Along the way, we’re building a network to rescue dogs with a fostering animal database and growing our own food to sell at Farmer’s Markets. Neither generate profits, but they foster community outreach, allow us to promote events, and in Colorado we hope to build a barter network “timebank” (as I did in New York City) to generate even more connections.
I am the founder and a speech-language pathologist… I will also be a licensed therapist by the time we get to Colorado… my approach with clients will be based on Jung, Taoism, Tao Te Ching, I Ching, Enneagram, Byron Katie, Gareth Hill, Eric Berne, and Carl Rogers. I am hoping others find these topics of interest even if they’re new to any or all of them.
This is very low pressure. There is no rush to join. If you do join, there will be no need to conform to anyone’s vision or change/limit yourself to fit some formula or culture
This community will be about supporting and championing you… The aim is for you to explore what’s interesting to you and what you enjoy doing. If economics are at play, that is if you don’t have a job or a job that’s portable, we’re happy to brainstorm ways to raise money to cover your share of the rent. Once the center is established in Colorado, hopefully there’s a job for you to keep that going and adding your creativity to the mix.
