Join us for a conversation about the varied ways we experience conflict in community, and the choices we have about how to respond to those conflicts in the Five Ways to Respond to Conflict webinar.

About the event

Conflicts range from little “d” disagreements, to big “C” CONFLICT, and they reach us on good days and bad, when we have a lot of capacity for emotional work and when we have none. They arrive in people with whom we have and want deeply intimate relationships and people we are happy to keep as casual neighbors.

Despite all variety, we tend to respond to all conflicts the same way. For some it’s head on, for others it’s avoidance. In community we often adopt a shared value for working through conflict using particular tools.  This session will address that paradigm, suggest that there are a number of different ways to respond to conflict and challenge each of us to be intentional about conflict, choosing the response that best suits the circumstances and people involved.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about:

  • A variety of approaches to conflict
  • How to be intentional in your response to conflict
  • When to fight, when to flee, and when to do something else
