By request, membership and donations are tax deductible. FIC is a 501(c)(3) non profit.

What membership level is right for me?
- As an Individual…
- The Supporter Level is perfect If you believe in our vision and mission and want to support us while getting some perks.
- The Learner Level is perfect if you’re a dedicated communitarian and want to access all our support and resources to help you realize your community vision.
- As a Community, your membership offers amazing benefits including 50% off individual memberships, access to exclusive events, and also the opportunity to engage with the community of communities in North America and beyond.
How does it work?
Choose the membership level of your choice, check out, and start gaining access to amazing resources. You will receive a confirmation email with more information to get you started.
How much does it cost?
- Supporter Membership is $88/year
- Learner Membership is $222/year
- Community Membership is $100/year + $5/IC resident
What if I want to cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership anytime. To do so, go to the Subscriptions section of your account settings. You can manually cancel there. If you need further assistance, contact sales@ic.org.
I do not currently live in a community, can I still join?
You are welcome to join as an Individual at the Supporter or Learner level, but Community Memberships are reserved for representatives from forming and established ICs.
What if I live in a community, but do not want the community membership?
You are welcome to join as an Individual at the Supporter or Learner level.
How do I access the courses and events?
I am new to intentional communities, is this still for me?
It’s actually perfect for you! Most people who access FIC resources are people who are seeking or just curious how to create more community in their lives, wherever they are.
