Presenting Community:

Mission Peak Village
Members of Mission Peak Village are coming together to create a new cohousing community in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. It will be the first to be located in the city of Fremont and will be an inclusive, intergenerational community of 32 households. For support in creating our community, we have chosen partners with solid experience in cohousing, architecture, and development—CoHousing Solutions, Gunkel Architecture, and UD+P.
We already have land and a beautiful site plan that has received City approval. Our future home is in a quiet residential neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It is near walking trails, bike trails, a year-round farmers market, and the crown jewel of Fremont, Central Park and Lake Elizabeth. About a half mile away, a new rapid transit station, the Irvington BART station, is scheduled to open a year or two after we move in.
Our members come from many backgrounds, yet we’re all connected through our shared values and commitment to building a better quality of life for ourselves, our neighbors, and those we encounter throughout our daily lives. We still have openings as we put the finishing touches on our planning, with the hope of breaking ground in 2025. We welcome inquiries.
