Presenting Community:

Heartwood Cohousing, in sunny southwest Colorado, offers a unique blend of community and personal space. Established 25 years ago, Heartwood is a place where neighbors know each other, and nature is a daily part of life.
The community values multigenerational living, welcoming families with children and embracing the richness that comes from diverse ages. Shared resources, like a common house, gardens, and recreational facilities, foster a sense of belonging and promote sustainable living. Heartwood is a place where you can truly feel at home, where you know your neighbors, and where you can enjoy a peaceful, healthy lifestyle.
Life here is about connection—to each other and to the land. It’s about living in harmony with nature, enjoying the peace and quiet of a rural setting, and having the space to pursue your passions. Heartwood offers a chance to live a simpler, more connected life, surrounded by beauty and supported by a caring community.
