About your presenter

Jonah Mesritz, Find and Finance Your Community Dream Property presenter

Jonah Mesritz

Jonah is a licensed REALTOR who has supported many forming groups to purchase their community properties by utilizing smart creative financing techniques and his own property purchasing experience.  Jonah has served as both a U.S. Navy SEAL and a Firefighter and uses those experiences to aid small unit dynamics and create successful team tactics for community projects.  His side hustles include buying investment real estate, creating an investor fund, starting businesses like Boochcraft high alcohol kombucha, and investing in large 100+ unit residential builds.  In 2010 he co-founded the Emerald Village (EVO) ecovillage in North County San Diego, where he lived for ten beautiful years. In 2021 he co-purchased a 10+ unit Buddhist retreat center in Southern Oregon, where he has moved with his family and some other EVO co-founders, to start a new land-based community project and education center called Terra Lumen. These days he continues to grow his businesses while learning deeper levels of earth stewardship and forest management.
