Using the Enneagram to Become a Better Communitarian

Learn how understanding the enneagram & your own enneatype can make you a better communitarian.

To truly connect with your community, you need to start by having a solid understanding of yourself and how you operate. The enneagram offers us a roadmap that can guide our personal transformation in ways that are specific to our individual psychology.

Using the enneagram can help you unlock your own internal mysteries and experience greater liberation from the fixations of your personality. It supports you to:

  • deepen your self awareness
  • enhance your relational intelligence
  • generate compassion for others
  • drive curiosity amidst the challenges of community

Join longtime communitarian Lee Warren for a 1.5-hour introductory overview of the Enneagram and how it applies to life in community. No prior Enneagram experience necessary and this information is applicable to all walks of life.

During this session you will:

  • Learn about the enneagram for personal growth and development
  • Discover how the enneagram can be useful in navigating community
  • Explore the role of self-awareness and assessment in negotiating relationships
  • Discuss enneatypes and their individual paths towards freedom

This session is an introduction to our 5-week Becoming a Communitarian course led by Lee. Join us for a transformative journey as we dive deep into self literacy, community living, culture repair, and satisfying intimacy.

Meet the Presenter

Lee Warren

Lee is a devoted community builder. She is delighted by community of all kinds, shapes, sizes, and intentions. Her life purpose is to provide leadership in the building of community in accessible, natural, and blissful ways. To that end, she is committed to reweaving the cosmologies as well as regenerating the cultural wisdom that allows for us ALL to “return to the village.” The village is a metaphor for the collaborative approach to life that will repair historical damage and create a sense of coherence and unity. Cultural repair looks like conscious relating to self, to land, to dying, to living, and to other. As we return to the village, we create cohesive, supportive, inclusive, and life-giving systems that tend to the whole, most especially to the “more than human world”. In the midst of this deep reverence, we will come to see the divine in all things. All aspects of life are sacred opportunities for presence and soulful engagement. sustainable economics, conscious dying, and community of all kinds.

Loved by Community Builders

What a beautiful gift to our intentional community builders and leaders! FIC’s programs provide a way for thinking and concerned people to collaborate for solutions to our multitude of global crises. Thank you FIC!Terri Garcia

I am constantly impressed by the down-to-earth practicality of the FIC workshops combined with the philosophical questions that are so vital for us to explore. I’m grateful for the excellent planning and delivery of the workshops by skilled and inclusive presenters, who create a space that is both welcoming and invites participants to challenge existing ideas and world views. Well done and thank you FIC.Claire Ogden
