I help people explore intentional community living and find a place to call home.
I’m the author of Intentional Community: Choosing Community Living for Better Housing, Health, and Happiness, and over the past decade, I’ve visited more than 200 intentional communities around the world.
I now live in an ecovillage in Vermont, where I built a natural home and tend a permaculture garden.
Through my work, I support people in discovering, joining, and creating community-led housing. I’m the founder of Community Finders, which helps people find and join intentional communities, and Ecovillage Tours, which offers immersive trips to visit communities around the world. To date, we’ve hosted more than twenty tours, giving participants a rare opportunity to experience a wide diversity of communities firsthand.
Earlier in my career, I served as Co-Director of the Foundation for Intentional Community, where I helped expand its educational programs and outreach. I continue to work as a spokesperson and educator in the field, including hosting virtual tours of communities and teaching courses on how to find your community.
I have a degree in Sustainability from Goddard College, along with certifications in Ecovillage Design, Permaculture Design, and Yoga Teacher Training.
