Bringing Communities to the People!

Every single day about 1,400 people visit the online Communities Directory.

That is about 2 unique individuals every single minute! About 40,000 people per month — About 1/2 million every year!

People are searching for communities to learn about and to be inspired by. They want to connect to and visit places that have changed the rules and developed their own cultures. They want to find their next home or adventure. They want to find other founders to build community together.

From over 1,000 intentional communities of a variety of types, focuses, philosophies, geographies, and methods, people are finding ways to gain perspective on and to act on sustainability, cooperation, and possibility.

Our Collective Future Depends on Collaboration Now.

We are raising $2,019 to kick off an exceptional year for this vital project.

Support the Communities Directory!

Exciting plans are now underway to streamline, update, and enhance the online Directory during this year.

$2,019 is about what the server and software costs for the year to host all of the resources on www.ic.org.

Your gift, however small, allows FIC to provide tools and resources that help people cooperate to sustain communities.

Contribute on Facebook, or become an FIC Member or Donor.

Thank you so much for your support.

Much ♥,
FIC

Most of us can only handle stacking, storing and stepping over our stuff for so long before we start to feel claustrophobic. We go on a cleaning spree and give (or sell) it all away. But that’s only a temporary fix. Living small requires a more permanent shift. You might find it hard to believe, but…
