Roots To Heal Farmacy is going to be a Permaculture eco income sharing Farm. We believe in sustainable communal living. We will be the first income sharing Farm in Costa Rica as well. The main goals our community is going to have are: grow 90% plus of our own food, eco friendly building, starting businesses and sharing income as a community, communal eating, ect. As we start coming together as a community we can discuss things further. We don’t have the land yet. Once we get enough people together to buy the land we will. And once we have the land we could start creating different businesses. Like for example: Fruit from farm, vacation huts/ B&B, tree nursery, restaurant, smoothie shack, edible landscaping, tour guide, some kind of internet buisness, or even come together with a members existing business. and I’m sure there is more we can think of if we put our heads together. We don’t want to raise any animals for meat to make money. only for our community members. Who our willing to process them there selves. And for religion and or spirituality. We ask if your religious that you do not push it on anyone. And the same thing goes with spirituality. If you are asked about it and someone really wants to know. Then it’s fine and the same thing goes with diet. We don’t want any stupid fights over it. Drugs will not be allowed. Except for cannabis but must be grown. Community will not pay for it. Shrooms and ayahuasca will be allowed for religious or spiritual practices.

We also want to have community meals together. My family eat a plant based diet. But we don’t discriminate anyone on there food choices. We will just have to have certain cookware for people who eat meat.
Once we have enough founders to purchase the property. And when we feel like we are ready to start accepting new members. The person or family will have to go through a process. Where they stay for 2 months or more, so we can see if they are going to be a good fit for the community. And we ask that each person or family donate what they can to the community as well. If accepted to be a member of the community. The only people who will not be able to be voted out of the community will be the founders. Plus the founders won’t be able to sell the membership if they change their mind about living there.
Once we have the property and we are up and running. You will need to email us about visiting the Farm. And we will let you know if we are able to except visitors at moment.
The whole membership decides collectively.
More than 50% agreement needed.
Members elect leaders who make decisions within defined roles.
There will be no leader who decides everything. We will vote on things if we are having trouble making a decision.
All member income goes into common pool for community use.

Labor: Yes (30 hrs/week)
Members with pre-existing debt: allowed
We do not care about your pre-existing debt for members. But the community will not pay or be responsible for your debt, so keep that in mind. Unless the community as a whole agrees upon it. Plus we do not care about your credit score either. We are not here to judge anyone about there past. We just want to make a better future for us and our kids.
