NuMundo wants to make it easier for travelers to connect with ecovillages and intentional communities around the world. Their site has dozens of listings in the U.S., Europe, South America, and more, many of which offer permaculture classes, natural building courses, and other hands-on, land-based experiences. NuMundo calls these locations “impact centers“:
“An impact center is a land based project that offers individual transformation, regenerative living education and strives to leave a positive local impact. An impact center could be an ecovillage, organic farm, yoga retreat center, or even a hostel.”
If you’re a traveler, you can request to visit or stay at one of these centers. If you live or work at one, you can create a listing for it on the site so people can book a class or overnight stay at your community.

Southeast Bioregional Convergence
This month, NuMundo is hosting a Bioregional Convergence in Asheville, North Carolina, to gather ambassadors from impact centers in the region for two days of collaboration.
The event will be hosted at the Living Arts Foundation, July 9-10, 2016, and requires a $50 fee for food and an RSVP by July 1st using this form. If you live in the Southeast U.S. and want to connect with other impact centers, here’s your chance.
If you can’t make it to the event, check out some of these other centers in the area, including the Ecovillage Training Center located at The Farm Community in Tennessee, or Seven Springs Holistic Retreats in the Great Smoky Mountains.
