Our farm is an off-grid, 86-acre sanctuary on the Hamakua Coast off the Big Island, Hawaii. We are an intentional non-violent plant-based community. We have about 2 acres of permaculture inspired gardens, 15 acres of commercial lychee orchard, 20 acres of food forest, 40+ acres of pasture.
We are currently in a building stage on the land. We have a few current grant projects we are working on and preparing for an upcoming natural building workshop.
Currently we are an intentional community with about 7 permanent residents and a rotating group of 4-10 worktraders. The land is home to many animals: rescue dairy cows, horses, a donkey, dogs, cats, and an active bee hives.
As an animal sanctuary, we don’t consume much meat on the land. Fish, eggs, honey, and dairy are okay. Rainbow Bridge is a drug and alcohol free space in our communal areas.
As part of land there is a special meditation temple for residents and guests to visit. Our landscape has many waterfall pools that are wonderful for swimming.
We are still in the building stages on the land and are looking for people to actively and enthusiastically participate in the building of this sanctuary with us.
Connection, compassion, and community on the Hāmākua Coast.
Coming to visit to work along side us, is the best way to get to know if we and you are a good fit for a longer term relationship.
Please send us an email or text.
