What we do

GAYA community of consciousness
We share a common core focus: to realize ourselves in full self-awareness to manifest a truly human society.
PRINCIPLES
• We integrete various levels of consciousness: physical, emotional, psychological, social, environmental, quantum, galactic and spiritual.
• The way of living facilitates individual and collective transformation in order to achieve a fully conscious humanity in harmony with the Earth.
• Individually there is a yearning for enquiry and inner realisation, a work of selfrecognition of the traumas, wounds, conditionings and masks of the ego/character.
• Collectively there is a renewal of habits and customs given by planetary socioenvironmental consciousness: conscious food and consumption; very low or zero industrial, chemical and electromagnetic pollution; very high capacity for selfmanagement, cooperation and resilience.
• Non-violent, sincere and honest communication, deep dialogue beyond egos, awareness of the power of language and silence; respect for the expression and needs of each individual, without fear of living and managing crises.
DISTINCTIVE FEATURES
• Solar culture: Sunlight and temperature guide and organize us on many levels, half the day is community time, the other half is personal time.
• Healthy and simple organic food, without fried foods, flour, refined sugars, etc.
• Great domestic care, maintaining the beauty and harmony of spaces.
• We minimize industrial waste: we don’t use tetrabriks, cans, very little plastic, etc.
• Low dependence on electricity, we do not use refrigerator, freezer, blender, etc.
• 5G-free space with little electromagnetic pollution.
• We are friends of all spiritual traditions and practices that help us to understand and integrate the polarities and to life in harmony.

Worktrade Opportunities on Big Island Hawaii

We are continuing our work-trade program at Bridge Hawaii for the right people on this beautiful 86-acre land located along the Hāmākua Coast. Ideally, we want to host those individuals who can help with the garden and who can support with build projects for up to a 3 month stay. This work-trade would include lodging, food staples, community kitchen, running hot water showers, off-grid electricity, and laundry. There is access to high speed wi-fi. We often have a car that can be reserved. We also have full bar signal strength with Verizon cellphone service. We have about 2 acres of permaculture garden that needs to be cared for including; weeding, planting, picking up mulch, some tree trimming, ect. We are currently in a building stage on the land. We have a few current grant projects we are working on and some build projects that are underway. We are an intentional community with about 8 permanent residents. There are rescue dairy cows, mini cows, mini donkeys, horses, a donkey, cats, dogs, and active bee hives. We are a drug and alcohol “free” space. A glass of wine or beer with dinner is fine, but absolutely no day drinking or parties. We have a meditation temple and many waterfall pools that are wonderful for swimming. Close to some of the nicest beaches on island. We have snorkeling gear and a kayak. Since this is an animal sanctuary, we limit the consumption of meat on the land. Fish, eggs, honey, and dairy are fine. Let me know if you’re interested by sending an email or text for our application. Maomi (801) 623-0738 ma***@*****************ii.com

Mountain Laurel House has upcoming room openings on August 1 and September 1 to share our house in central East Austin close to downtown. Rent is $925 per month with $75 to cover your share of the utilities and maintenance. You provide your own food. We enjoy sharing a meal at the dining table at least once a month for fun, to check in on our lives, and talk about housekeeping together. To apply, email do*************@***il.com with subject line Room at Mountain Laurel House. Request the brief application questions and we’ll provide more info and answer your questions. Mountain Laurel House is in a great location! It’s on a green cul de sac, with a wooded lot to the southwest and a green open space to the west. It’s close to the East 11th & Rosewood dining and entertainment district and right across from the Carver Library and a bus stop. We’re in walking distance to downtown Austin, the State Capitol, Huston-Tillotson University and a short bike or bus ride to the University of Texas; and, south or east of here, Lady Bird Lake and Boggy Creek hike and bike trails, park lands, swimming pools, pickleball and basketball courts. I kayak on Town Lake aka Lady Bird Lake or swim just across downtown at Deep Eddy or Barton Springs fresh-water, spring-fed swimming pools. We enjoy sharing a meal at the dining table at least once a month for fun, to check in on our lives, and plan housekeeping together. HEB is a short 5 minute drive east on 7th St. and Whole Foods is about a ten minute walk from here on 5th St. Amenities in the house include a dishwasher, utility room with a clothes washer-dryer and an optional clothesline, high-speed internet, a big dining room table for meals or activities, and a large screen TV for movie nights. The yard has beautiful native wildlife habitat gardens, veggie and herb pots, a large Cedar Elm, two Live Oaks, a fruit-bearing Fig, a Champenelle grape vine, and a Chili pequin. The cul de sac is a large park-like
