Seeking Aligned Families for a Kin’s Domain–Inspired Community (Ecuador or Paraguay)
We are a small family beginning the journey of Verde Vivas, a Kin’s Domain–inspired homestead and intentional community rooted in nature connection, non-toxic living, and child-led learning.
A Kin’s Domain is a family homestead on one hectare (about 2.5 acres), designed to support a simple, self-sufficient life in deep harmony with nature. It is a place to grow food, raise children close to the Earth, and create a lasting family legacy. This vision is inspired by the Ringing Cedars of Russia books by Vladimir Megre, which describe the beauty, purpose, and potential of living in deep connection with the land. We are exploring Ecuador and Paraguay as possible homes. Our vision includes private homesteads for each family and shared spaces where children can roam freely, play, explore, and learn. Imagine a nature playground, forest-school-style learning areas, a natural swimming pond, ropes courses, and a central gathering space for meals, workshops, and creative projects. Families would support one another in cultivating food, tending the land, and sharing skills.
At Verde Vivas, shared spaces would follow a raw vegan / living foods approach, emphasizing fresh fruits and whole plant foods, with meals and snacks reflecting the abundance of the land rather than processed ingredients or refined sugars. The community would also celebrate a sober, mindful, and toxin-free lifestyle, with clean air, water, and soil, free from smoking, fragrances, and harmful chemicals. The land itself would be a sanctuary for life, with animals respected and free to thrive.
We imagine families growing food, building with natural materials, and living simply and intentionally—each stewarding their own space, yet coming together to create a shared environment of learning, creativity, and connection. Children would grow up barefoot on the soil, swimming in natural waters, and learning through curiosity, exploration, and hands-on experience.
Verde Vivas is for families who are drawn to this way of life, who wish to live in harmony with the Earth, and who want to raise their children surrounded by nature, health, and community. Families who share these values will find a home here, while those who do not will naturally find other paths.
We would especially love to connect with families with young children, ideally close in age to our daughter (currently 5). We are also looking for individuals and families interested in natural building, permaculture, herbalism, holistic education, traditional crafts, conscious parenting, or simply living a grounded, soulful life.

Verde Vivas is an idea for a nature-based homestead and intentional community, with the possibility of exploring land either in Paraguay or Ecuador (but we’re open to other locations or if you already have a community). We imagine a place where children flourish in freedom, families thrive in nature, and the Earth provides everything we need when we live in harmony with it.
The vision is to co-create a land-based lifestyle that honors simplicity, sovereignty, play, and purpose—where each family could steward their own homestead while contributing to a vibrant, child-centered, and health-conscious community.
We imagine young children growing wild and free, guided by curiosity and exploration, learning naturally from the land itself, which becomes both teacher and playground. Verde Vivas is a dream of reconnecting with the rhythms of nature, nurturing one another, and cultivating a life of meaning, creativity, and well-being—as we explore where this vision could take root.

At this early stage, our community economics model is still evolving and will depend greatly on the land we find and the interests and contributions of the families who join us. We are open to exploring various approaches that support shared responsibilities, sustainable living, and fairness—whether through cooperative ventures, shared resources, or individual stewardship.
Our goal is to create a healthy economic foundation that reflects our values of community, freedom, and mutual support, and we look forward to shaping this together with future members.
