Built on one acre within North Boulder’s Holiday Neighborhood, Silver Sage is between 28th and Broadway, north of Yarmouth on 16th and Yellow Pine. Silver Sage has sixteen duplexes and attached homes, a large community center and other common buildings (woodworking shop, garden and bicycle sheds), and a common courtyard with internal sidewalks and landscaping.
We are especially proud of our community center, the physical hub of Silver Sage. As residents, we have contributed to the design of this center. The community house includes a large kitchen and dining area, a guest room, craft room, media room, exercise and meditation rooms, and a large artist coop shared by 5 artists. Our spacious deck has exceptional views of the Flatirons.
The combination of 10 market-rate and 6 deed-restricted homes in Silver Sage are thoughtfully designed, upscale, and built with the latest sustainable features. Each includes a well-equipped kitchen, living area, bedrooms and baths, as well as outside decks, porches or sitting areas. Legally, Silver Sage is governed as a condominium association.
Silver Sage Village is a senior cohousing community (age 50+) with a common vision of aging in community and supporting one another while striving to live together with compassion, generosity and respect.
We come together from diverse backgrounds and a variety of life experiences. We hope to meet the challenges that this brings by striving for mutual understanding founded on respect, caring and kindness. We also appreciate that our differences bring valuable resources that enhance our experience of living in community, and we value the contribution of every member.
We are committed to establishing a balance between our private lives and our contributions to the common good, thereby creating a beautiful place and supportive community in which to live and explore aging in community.
