Sacred Canopy Living Community is a forming intentional community rooted in joy, land stewardship, and a living experience of Christ consciousness. We are gathering people who want to pray, create, work, dance, grow food, and play together while cultivating a forest-centered, regenerative way of life in Western North Carolina.
Our vision is simple and bold: to build a small, vibrant community where spirituality, creativity, and ecological care are woven into the daily rhythm. We draw from the Christian contemplative and sacramental stream while honoring Christ consciousness as a field of unconditional love, truth, and compassion. We believe the sacred can be expressed through tending soil, singing around a fire, learning from the forest, and supporting one another in becoming more fully alive.
We imagine a place where:
• Spiritual practice is woven into the week—simple liturgies, shared prayer, contemplative silence, and heart-centered circles.
• Land stewardship—forest gardening, regenerative agriculture, hands-on ecological restoration.
• Embodied joy is welcomed—dance, music, movement, and play as expressions of gratitude and community bonding.
• Shared work builds connection—gardening, building, cooking, and caring for the land together.
• Hospitality is a core value—welcoming visitors, pilgrims, and friends who resonate with this way of life.
• Formation and growth are ongoing—shaped by tradition, the land, and one another.
We are in an early forming stage and are seeking people who feel called to co-create a small, grounded, spiritually rooted, and joy-filled community under this “sacred canopy” of forest and light. You don’t need to share all of our beliefs to connect, but you should feel at home around people for whom faith, inner work, and Christ consciousness are central. We welcome anyone drawn to a life of collaboration and delight.
If you feel drawn to a life where prayer, play, light, and ecological stewardship meet, we’d love to connect.
Sacred Canopy Living Community exists to cultivate a small, forest‑rooted home of Christ‑centered light, collaboration, and ecological care. We bring together people who want to weave spiritual practice, shared work, creativity, and land stewardship into everyday life. Our focus is on living simply and joyfully: tending the forest and gardens, praying and reflecting together, moving and playing in our bodies, and supporting one another’s inner growth. We welcome those who feel called to co‑create a peaceful, respectful household where Christ consciousness, community, and the living earth are honored.
Our membership process begins with a conversation. If you feel drawn to Sacred Canopy Living Community, start by reaching out to introduce yourself and share what resonates with our vision. We’ll schedule a call or visit to get to know one another, followed by a period of gently joining our rhythms—spiritual practice, land work, shared meals, and play. Because we are in an early forming stage, this discernment period is relational and spacious, allowing both you and the community to sense whether it’s a good fit. When mutual clarity emerges, we’ll explore next steps for deeper commitment and shared life together.
If you’d like to visit Sacred Canopy Living Community, please reach out first rather than just showing up. Start by sending a short email sharing a bit about yourself, why you’re interested, and what kind of visit you’re hoping for (simple tour, day visit, or short trial stay). From there, we’ll schedule a brief call to feel into mutual fit, go over house guidelines, and choose a time that works for everyone. Visitors are asked to come with an open heart, respect for the home and land, and a willingness to join in simple shared tasks like cooking, gardening, or cleanup as feels appropriate.
