What we do

Olive Juice: A Living Community of Purpose and Connection
Imagine waking up in a handcrafted geodesic dome, surrounded by lush permaculture gardens in Portugal’s serene landscapes. Olive Juice will be more than a nonprofit retreat center—it will be a thriving eco-community built on shared purpose, deep connection, and sustainable living.
Our community is for those who dream of stepping off the treadmill of modern life and immersing themselves in a lifestyle that values simplicity, harmony, and creativity. Together, we are building a haven where art, mindfulness, and ecological stewardship come alive. We are offering an environment where every resident is supported in their personal growth while contributing to a collective vision.
As a founding resident, you will:
•Live with Purpose: Be part of a nonprofit initiative that prioritizes giving back over profit, inspiring transformation in individuals and the world.
•Reside in Beauty: Enjoy a private geodesic dome built with sustainable materials, nestled within lush gardens and regenerative landscapes.
•Collaborate Creatively: Co-create workshops, gatherings, and innovative projects alongside like-hearted individuals who share your passion for making a difference.
•Thrive in Community: Experience the joy of shared meals, meaningful relationships, and a support system rooted in mutual care and understanding.
•Grow Personally: Participate in transformational activities like yoga, meditation, permaculture, sound healing, and more, as part of your daily life.
Olive Juice won’t just be a place to live—it will be a way of life. It will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in an ecosystem of love, growth, and sustainability while leaving a lasting imprint of goodness on the land and the people around you.
If you’re seeking a place where you can grow, contribute, and belong, we invite you to join our journey of living with intention, nurturing the Earth, and creating something truly meaningful—together.

How to join

Joining Olive Juice as a resident is a journey of mutual trust and alignment. To ensure compatibility and shared purpose, we follow these steps:

1. Volunteer Period (First Month):

Begin as a volunteer contributing 32-hours of weekly work. This is the perfect time to get to know the other residents, feel the positive impact of your contribution, and to dive deeper into your self during our many workshops and classes.

2. Resident Candidacy (Second & Third Month):

After one month, if mutual alignment of values and collaboration is evident, the individual transitions to a Resident Candidate. During this time you will fully settle into the slower, playful, and loving pace here at Olive Juice.

3. Residency Decision (End of Third Month):

At the conclusion of three months, the current residents and the candidate collectively decide if Olive Juice will become the candidate’s long-term home. This decision is based on shared values, work ethic, and the ability to integrate harmoniously into the community.

Join us in Our Adventure of Co-Creating a Life of Peace, Love, and Abundance Together!

LOOKING FOR OUR NEW FAMILY OF CO CREATORS TO JOIN OUR ADVENTURE! Message us to schedule a visit! More about us and our vision below! Read on and we look forward to hearing from you soon if you feel in alignment with our vision! A forming and co-created spiritually-oriented intentional community and homestead nestled in the beautiful woods of Northern Michigan. We are focused on self-awareness, free and open spiritual/consciousness development, sustainable living, self sufficiency, growing organic food, building small energy efficient homes/dwellings, peace, and freedom in all things. We are looking to build a community of like minded souls that share in our vision of creating a harmonious and sustainable way of life that is close to nature and focused on living from the heart/soul. Seeking kind, compassionate, caring, and emotionally mature souls who are good at non violent communication, resolving conflict peacefully, and working together. The community property is well on its way to sustainability already with a fruit orchard with over 18 apple trees and a variety of plum and pear trees. The property also has 2 very large organic gardens covering around 3 acres in total combined size filled with organic healthy vegetables for community self sufficiency, farm market selling, and food preserving (canning). We have plans to build a couple energy efficient green houses in the near future! We are also getting 30-40 chickens for egg production within the next month. Also considering a couple cows or goats for milk. We currently have 3 houses on the homestead property that are available to new community members for rent or work trade or a combination of both! The main community house has potentially 6 bedrooms available as well. We have plans to build multiple small/tiny homes and cabins in the beautiful woods here for members that are energy efficient and off grid with renewable clean energy/electricity and rainwater harvesting. We are working on a community in
