We have a unique property that could be an amazing intentional living community. We live here now and do basic leases with our neighbors who rent, but we’d love to have community minded neighbors. The main reason I am posting because in 3-5 years we plan to sell and if other groups are looking to buy they should check us out. Our consolidated holdings are .7 acres, or two city lots, that share a long driveway creating a uniquely private space in the city. There is a beautiful wooded area in the back that creates privacy in the winter, and stunning views of downtown St. Paul and the Capital building in the winter. Each lot has a duplex and large garage. Each separate apartment/home has 4 bedrooms and at least 2 baths. The lower level of the back duplex is fully finished and separate from the living quarters: It is 1600 square feet, half could be a 5th one bedroom apartment/a day care space/a party room. The other half could be an office/a play room/work from home set up/yoga studio or extension of whatever the space next to it is used for. The unique 2 spaces are fully separated, lockable and accessible without going through anyone’s home. There is plenty of parking for guests. We have drafted plan for the the largest home (over 3000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths) to be divided into a main home and a separate, but connected mother-in-law apartement. Total potential: 6 living spaces, plus a common meeting area.
Presently: Just neighborliness. Currently, common spaces are used for private purposes.
