What we do

January 2026
Palm bay, Florida.
Respect for ALL. Harmony. Kindness. Inclusion.
Warm regards.
PLEASE be interested in growing food – fruits – perennial food plants – annual vegetables – food forest – amazing plants and trees
propagating food plants
30 minutes west of the Ocean, I have a 2/1 house on 3/4 acre – with many fruit trees and plants as well as vegetable gardens. I am planting annual vegetables as well as perennial greens and food plants. I also grow nectar plants for pollinators. I just bought a wooded lot next door to protect what little habitat still exists and maintain privacy. I would love to have a few folks assist with building a small accessory house in cement block as a hurricane shelter and an additional residence, as well as, to plant more food forest and enlarge the gardens. I have no debt. I am a lifelong artist – sculptor – painter. Potential exists for an art based enterprise or a food or plant based project. – Open to discussions! the land and house I now have is mid – east coast Florida – south of the space center 30 miles or so. I am 71, reasonably powerful, strong – spiritual. I – meditate daly and have for 50 and more years, mostly vegetarian, artist, musician, (midi music studio and acoustic – electric instruments available) Art equipment and tools available…. smoke 420 and drink wine. hoping to find folks who could assist in a project and might invest $ and labor for a shared ownership or long term living arrangement. Open to anything – Now, located in a residential neighborhood which has been developed in the last few years leaving little remaining habitat. As a result, lots of animals now live in my wooded lot, raccoons – possums – 1 feral nice cat and 1 feral – you have to be careful – guy – the large back yard is somewhat private and fenced although the very old fence is not doing well, I am planting more bushes and trees to maintain privacy without adding more fence. There are many animals and I provide dry cat food to the raccoons and possums, and I feed the feral cats (2) I provide many available sources of clean fresh water daily.
At age 71 – I am enthusiastic about adding more food. More fruit, more perennial food plants, more color – more flowers of every type – perennials! I am not working very hard on the property – though I trim trees and weed to keep things from out of control – status! I would enjoy an older couple – or woman – or a younger man capable of building, for the right fit, I will offer eventual partial ownership.
A mile from grocery and other stores and a nice bike path is available. Pizza delivery is available! amenities so far include – 1 – 2/1 house with stained cement floors, wifi, fire stick tv – well water, ac., fruit trees, gardens… – Open to all. Email me – 1 room available and a nice tent. More space as needed.
I just bought a new 2024 Toyota for shared use.
Fruit trees – plants, here now: (not including recently planted trees)
Some are bearing abundantly, some just starting to bear.
2 Grapes, 3 Figs, lots of Dragonfruit, ( I kept count of the dragonfruit production this season almost 200!) 5 Avocados, 10 guavas, longan, lychee, 15 Bananas, 2 Jackfruit, 2 Plum, 3 Mulberry, 15 Loquat, 2 Papaya, Surinam cherry, grumichama cherry, wax jambu, chocolate sapote, passion fruit,
Perennials: Moringa, Chaya, Guynurma, Katuk, River spinach, sissoo spinach, new zealand spinach, okinowa spinach, cranberry hibiscus. egyptian spinach, roselle hibiscus…..Help identify and plant more please! I just ordered good king Henry seeds which sound exciting… -I am growing lots of plants under lights in the garage before they go into the ground.
I am adding color – where I have always concentrated on fruit, vegetables, perennial food plants and nectar producing flowers. Now, I am adding colorful flowers and bushes – adding more visual pleasures.
There is a nice diverse salad available every day of the year.
Florida and this county are generally conservative – I am NOT

3000sf House+Apartment, Rosewind Cohousing, Port Townsend WA

We are a retired couple who are downsizing, still living within the community. We are selling our large, flexible, comfortably rustic house, perfect for a multigenerational household, a family with kids or for 2 separate households. It’s 3000 square feet on 3 levels. The house is on a slope, with 2 main entrances. At one time it housed a large blended family. The current setup is a 2250 square foot, 2 bath main house with a 700 square foot rental apartment, also called an auxiliary dwelling unit (ADU). There is a staircase between the main and lower floor, with a lockable door. If desired, the ADU kitchen can be removed. The main floor has a very large kitchen/dining area, large living room, two small bedrooms, a bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower, a laundry room and a large mudroom. The non-bearing wall between the 2 bedrooms can be removed to turn it back to a single primary bedroom. The top floor has two bedrooms, one of which is primary with a large bright sitting area, and a large open middle area between them (game room, TV room, kids sleeping area, etc.). There is a bathroom with a claw-foot tub, no shower. The lower floor is the ADU, a finished storage area and a stand-up “crawl space“ which is used as a second pantry and storage.Attached to the house there is also a 150 sq ft wood paneled office/hobby space with its own electric and propane lines. Features: – straw bale construction, which is energy-efficient, great sound insulation, and provides a warm, soft, feeling. -very large functional kitchen with a long granite countertop. The dining area fits 10 people. -natural construction, with solid maple floors in the middle and upper level, marmoleum floor in kitchen and oak floor in the lower level. The two small bedrooms have painted wood floors. The doors are all solid wood. -large, functional, low maintenance patio area. Room for a table for eight and an additional sitting area. Propane hook ups for grills and smokers.

Worktrade Opportunities on Big Island Hawaii

We are continuing our work-trade program at Bridge Hawaii for the right people on this beautiful 86-acre land located along the Hāmākua Coast. Ideally, we want to host those individuals who can help with the garden and who can support with build projects for up to a 3 month stay. This work-trade would include lodging, food staples, community kitchen, running hot water showers, off-grid electricity, and laundry. There is access to high speed wi-fi. We often have a car that can be reserved. We also have full bar signal strength with Verizon cellphone service. We have about 2 acres of permaculture garden that needs to be cared for including; weeding, planting, picking up mulch, some tree trimming, ect. We are currently in a building stage on the land. We have a few current grant projects we are working on and some build projects that are underway. We are an intentional community with about 8 permanent residents. There are rescue dairy cows, mini cows, mini donkeys, horses, a donkey, cats, dogs, and active bee hives. We are a drug and alcohol “free” space. A glass of wine or beer with dinner is fine, but absolutely no day drinking or parties. We have a meditation temple and many waterfall pools that are wonderful for swimming. Close to some of the nicest beaches on island. We have snorkeling gear and a kayak. Since this is an animal sanctuary, we limit the consumption of meat on the land. Fish, eggs, honey, and dairy are fine. Let me know if you’re interested by sending an email or text for our application. Maomi (801) 623-0738 ma***@*****************ii.com
