Adams Creek Cohousing is a multi-generational community with 25 homes on a beautiful 2.4 acre wooded property in Hood River, Oregon. Adams Creek has year-round waterfalls and runs the length of the site. With close proximity to the natural beauty and recreational wonders of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood, this location also allows for easy access to the charming downtown of Hood River (named one of the 13 happiest places to live in the United States by OUTDOOR magazine a couple of years ago) and close enough to take advantage of Portland’s many big-city amenities. Our beautiful, spacious common house has breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge, and we gather there often for shared meals, movie nights, games, making music, and celebrations of all sorts. We use Sociocracy as our form of governance.
We find that living closely connected to each other makes life sweeter, more meaningful, and way more fun. We currently have no homes available. We do maintain a waiting list, however. If you would like to find about about how to be on it, send an email to fr*****@*****************ng.com
We are strengthened in our life together by visions and values for living in community. Expressing our visions and values guides us in the decisions we make and the time we spend together.
Our motto is: A life well shared is a life well lived.
