What we do

Kallipoli is a conscious/yogic community modelled around Plato’s ideal community described in the Republic.
What is Consciousness to us?
Consciousness to us is synonymous with mindfulness. Is synonymous with a calm mind, which doesn’t have to go to the future or the past if you don’t ask it to. Its synonymous with being aware of the different thoughts that are passing through your mind, the feelings that might generate and having control of these processes. There is a certain freedom in this way of being. One is no longer a victim or a slave to their thoughts, their feelings, their patterns, their trauma. And one can also protect others around, him or her, from these thoughts and feeling patterns etc. Consciousness for us invariably happens when energy flows freely in our energy channels, in Yoga called Nadis. It is often expressed as kindness, truthfulness, non-violence and can often be improved through yoga practices, meditation, mindfulness, breathing exercises etc.
Conscious people are often sensitive about energy and conscious people will more and more start to look for harmonious places to live. This is what a Conscious community is.
What is a conscious Community?
A conscious community is a gathering of conscious people. Where everyone contributes to harmony and the high vibrations of the community. We are building one because this is part of our service, because we too want to live in such an environment. Conscious Community is also an opportunity for amazing projects to be conceived and manifested. It is also an opportunity for people to share their skills and to come together in growth.

Our Mission

We came to conscious community through our intention to love in a more expanded and active way. We wanted to be of positive and meaningful contribution to others and over time we found that contribution is about full-filling needs of others and that conscious communities have the potential to fulfil all the human being’s needs in the most harmonious and timeless way. A conscious community doesn’t only take care of the more material needs such as nutrition and shelter but also subtler needs such as belonging, contribution and self-realisation. Our intention is to show that there is a much more harmonious way for human beings to live.
Our focus is sustainability, freedom and high, uplifting, joyful and inspiring vibrations. These vibrations we co-create as members of the community and are all responsible to sustain, maintain and protect.

37-Acre Sanctuary for Community, Homesteading and Off-Grid Living

Imagine waking to birdsong, mist rising over open meadows, and sunlight filtering through towering cedars. Picture a place where you can gather with community around a fire, cultivate food from rich living soil, steward a thriving ecosystem, and build a life rooted in connection, resilience, and purpose. Welcome to Heartwood Homestead — a remarkable 37-acre land project in Washington’s South Sound region that offers a rare combination of established off-grid infrastructure, development potential, ecological abundance, and accessibility. Whether you’re dreaming of creating an intentional community, regenerative farm, eco-village, healing retreat center, artist sanctuary, educational land project, family compound, or simply a private homestead with room to grow, Heartwood Homestead provides an extraordinary foundation to bring that vision to life. A Property Designed for Possibility Finding land is easy. Finding land that already has the infrastructure, water systems, power generation, multiple dwellings, community spaces, and zoning flexibility needed for a larger vision is exceptionally rare. Heartwood Homestead has spent years evolving into a functioning land project. Much of the difficult and expensive groundwork has already been completed, allowing new stewards to focus on creating rather than merely building. The property is zoned RR1/5, allowing for up to seven homes plus ADUs, creating significant potential for cooperative ownership structures, multi-family living, intentional community development, rental income, retreat accommodations, or phased expansion. For those seeking a community-oriented property, this is one of the most compelling opportunities available in the Pacific Northwest. Water Security and Off-Grid Resilience One of the greatest challenges facing many rural properties is water access. Heartwood Homestead shines in this regard. A brand-new 21 ga
