We’re in the gestation stage. Drawing all souls interested in an alternative lifestyle where needs and skills are met within the community as much as possible. We are searching for a rural space that maybe close to or somewhat removed from large urban metropolis where members can own as much land as they’re willing to invest in and where they assist one another be it physically, spiritually or otherwise. The whole tenet for planning the community is to connect with kindred spirits that enjoy the same things that we do, namely life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We seek a space that honors the fact that all humans are created equal, with certain inalienable rights, like respect, kinship and appreciation. A place where kindness rules supreme, and where honesty is practiced amongst its members. A place where we can all feel safe within each other’s protection, and where our common interests come first and not to the detriment of each other. A place where the community plays an active role in people’s lives without interfering with their right to self determination and privacy. A place where the sounds of the land are heard, the wind, birds, rain and fauna as well as flora is appreciated and interacted with in an honorable, respectful and joyous way. A place where good food and good attitudes are both seeded and reaped. A place where you come to appreciate your neighbor’s presence and contributions to your own life and environment. A place where we can pool forces to both acquire and maintain the land and structures and gardens that we long to cultivate. A place where we can all live happily together…a few acres apart from each other with one large community hall.
