Abundant Ponds Eco Village Community and Resort is a feminist intentional community that operates an eco resort. This community centers the needs of historically marginalized people and uses traditional practices from around the world to live harmoniously with each other and the environment.

Abundant Ponds Eco Village Community and Resort operates as a collection of entities with a variety of memberships with clear guidelines so that no one person can control or alter its original values and mission.
Prospective members are invited to stay for a short period of time at the community. A subsequent longer stay and provisional membership may be granted. Members are share owners of our LLC. Shares are either purchased at current rates or earned through sweat equity.

Abundant Ponds Eco Village Community operates through consensus and has specific teams and area leads whose role is to gather and present information, accept feedback from the community and plan and execute projects. Each area will have designated budgets for ongoing maintenance and to be used at the team’s discretion; for extenuating circumstances that require additional funding or may greatly impact the community, Abundant Ponds Eco Village Community will need to approve plans and budget. Each Abundant Ponds Eco Village Community individual full-time resident member has a vote. Children are allowed to vote when they begin taking on responsibility in the community at an appropriate age.
Monthly community-wide meetings will be held to discuss larger topics and will be accessible online. A simple majority quorum is needed to vote. Votes can be cast virtually. Meeting agenda items must be submitted 2 weeks before the next meeting, and an agenda will be published at least 10 days before the next meeting. A predetermined chair person will facilitate the meeting.
A team of elected and appointed residents will manage the day-to-day and long-term operation of the community. Positions will generally be held for a minimum of 3 years unless duties cannot be adequately fulfilled or circumstances change.
Members contribute a percentage of income to community funds.

Members with pre-existing debt: allowed
Community members can either earn income outside of the community and pay into the community for their living expenses or can be “employed” by the community and receive a monthly stipend in addition to food and housing. Membership shares are part of the LLC and can be purchased or earned through sweat equity.
