What we do

Possibilica is a team of culture-shift agents specializing in delivering authentic adulthood and archetypal initiatory processes for the shift to the next culture, Archiarchy: http://archiarchy.org
We are seeking land for establishing the Possibilica Initiation Center as a Bridge-House: http://bridge-house.mystrikingly.com
We offer matrix-building distinctions and experiments at StartOver.xyz: http://spaceport.mystrikingly.com
Archan cultures are Cavitated around values of adulthood and archetypal initiatory process, rather than around personal profit, private property, monogamy, or hierarchy. http://initiations.org
Possibilica declares itself a nanonation. It has its own constitution, flag, and passports. http://possibilica.org
Hierarchical power structures are a human design error, easily hijacked by psychopathic personalities because psychopaths are willing to do whatever it takes to climb a hierarchy and grab positions of power. Possibilica uses Torus Technology for meetings and decision making. Compared with the circles, for example, of Sociocracy 3.0, a Torus is four-dimensional. It breathes through divergence and convergence. http://torustechnology.mystrikingly.com
Possibilicans are also famous for using the tools, thoughtmaps, and processes of Possibility Management http://possibilitymanagement.org. We often implement weekly Possibility Teams wherever we go. http://possibilityteam.org
The Bright Principles of Possibilica are Possibility, Love, Initiation, and High-Level-Fun. http://brightprinciples.strikingly.com
We research, experiment, document, and share the copyleft open-code treasures of our learning journey as widely as possible (CC BY SA 4.0 International License) http://howtoplay.mystrikingly.com
Our S.P.A.R.K experiments (Specific Practical Applications of Radical Knowledge) are being translated into 17 languages, and our YouTube channel has over 3,000 subscribers plus over a million views. http://sparkexperiments.org

Two Homes Available in Cohousing Community - Indianola, WA

The Wise Acres Community is a cohousing neighborhood in Indianola, Washington. We currently have two openings: a 5-bedroom house and a 1-bedroom cottage. In Wise Acres, we gather for dinners, parties, and other events in our common house and tend a community garden together. We look out for each other, make decisions by consensus, and share the work of stewarding the land. One house available for rent has 4 bedrooms, plus a study that can be used as a bedroom. The kitchen and great room face east and south, with high windows that invite lots of natural light. The single-story home has a wood-burning stove in the living room and a whole-house A/C heat pump. Unfurnished. For photos and a floor plan of this house, click here. The other home available for rent is a 1 bedroom 650 sq ft cottage with skylight and a forest balcony. The tranquil, three-story house is suitable for those with good physical mobility. For photos, click here. Wise Acres is walking distance from the beach in a small, friendly town that is 6 miles from the ferry to Seattle. Here’s a link to the Wise Acres community website. We are seeking to rent to a household that wants to participate fully in community life. For more information, call or text 360 860 0644.

Healing Love Healing Money: Trust As The Foundation For A New Culture

Money, love and power are among the hardest things any community works with, and many of us carry the same fears into both: not having enough, losing what we have, and the sense that if someone else gets money or love, we won’t. Healing Love, Healing Money: Trust as the Foundation for a New Culture is taught by two intentional communities. Karen McAllister and Duncan Cryle are from Clear Sky Meditation and Retreat Center, a Buddhist-lineage community in the BC Rockies. Monika Alleweldt and Benjamin von Mendelssohn from Tamera Healing Biotope, a community of about 160 people in southern Portugal that has spent decades studying love, trust and relationship. Clear Sky has spent years working on its relationship with money, and our two communities found surprising parallels in the fears beneath both. Over four sessions we explore the roots of fear around money and belonging, love, possession and power, trust as infrastructure (community as a container for healing), and ethical livelihood. We use short meditations, body-based practices, reflection and small-group conversation. You do not need to be in a romantic relationship or live in community. When: October 27, Nov 3, 10, 17. All four sessions: 12–2pm Vancouver, 1–3pm Alberta, 7–9pm UK and Portugal, 8–10pm Central Europe. Note: US and some Canadian provinces change clocks on November 1, so the US west coast is 12–2pm on October 27, then 11am–1pm for the remaining sessions, and Eastern is 3–5pm on October 27, then 2–4pm for the rest. Cost: sliding scale Details and registration: https://www.clearskycenter.org/event/healing-love-healing-money-online/

An Evening with the GENOA Council

In a busy city, it’s easy to forget that people have always found ways to live closely together, with each other and with the land. Around the world, communities are quietly remembering how. Join us for an evening of stories from people who have spent their lives building community. From the hills of Aotearoa to rural Thailand, they’ll talk about how their communities began, what has held them together, what they’ve learned from indigenous wisdom, and what keeps them going when things get hard. This isn’t a how-to workshop. It’s a space to listen, be inspired, and reflect on what community, resilience and regeneration could mean for you. You will hear from Robina McCurdy, founder of TUI Community, Aotearoa (New Zealand) Thalea Tane, indigenous advocate (Te Roroa, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Whātua, Ngāti Whakaue), Aotearoa Om Sunisa Jamwiset Deiters, founder of Gaia Ashram, Thailand The talk is hosted by the Team at Global Ecovillage Network Oceania & Asia (GENOA): Thảo Kin (Vietnam) and Na Limwatana (Thailand)

Community Seekers

Seeking to work and live in a sociocracy-inspired community 💫

I am looking for a well-aligned community where I can live and work in a mutually beneficial way- offering my organizational, educational, and communication skills to further our collective and individual causes. You can learn more about me by viewing my communitarian resume. My ideal community would be able to employ me or offer a fair trade for room and possibly board. It would be practicing or interested in exploring sociocratic governance and share values like cooperation (or powering-with), transparency, clarity, compassion, and authenticity. It would also be a plus if it held its land in a Community Land Trust or the like. If you think we may be a good fit for each other, I would love to meet you and explore the possibility of working together! ✌🏼
