This Enchanted Hidden Hollow does not have the script written yet.
It is a STAGE with a set built on it, ready for someone to get to write their own script.
The stage is this: 2.5 acres in the country in the Wine Country Dundee Hills of Oregon. But unlike many rural settings, it is just 1-2 miles from two charming small towns (Dundee and Newberg–with restaurants, live music, art, and culture) and just 22 miles from Portland, 52 miles to the Oregon Coast, 99 miles to Mt. Hood.
The land itself has a 4-level Treehouse (we rented it out on Airbnb for $290/night for over a year). It has a recently completely remodeled house and a newly renovated Studio space.
There’s a wild canyon with hillsides perfect for hobbit houses, and with a year-round creek with many trees for potentially more treehouses.
There’s a barn with a workshop used for woodworking.
There are multiple established garden beds, firepit areas for gatherings, and a unique farm stand for selling veggies, flowers, art, woodwork.
It has a conventional well, plus another hand dug well. And it has a septic system–so it is already mostly off-grid.
We have hosted many small healing retreats here–so it’s got that magical, enchanted vibe.
So the stage is set. And much of the “scenery” for the stage is built. It’s ready for YOU to write the ‘PLAY’ you want to live. Small community. Small retreat host. It’s up to you.
We are feeling called to the nomadic life for the next stage of our lives, like traveling gypsies or the FOOLs in the Tarot. We have loved creating this space, working with all the portals that are naturally here, and opening up others that had been neglected.
One option would be for us to “release” (sell) this completely to someone or group who is wanting to carry out a vision for it. And as difficult as it would be to walk away, if we left it in the right hands, we could feel right about doing this.
Another option would be to partner with another couple or group and continue playing a small role in caretaking of the place, allowing us to embark on our FOOL’s nomadic phase of life. Perhaps a shared TRUST, or a lease. We are open to options, so long as the place continues to be a magical portal cared for by wise, loving and visionary caretakers.
To enjoy connection and ALIVENESS as Sovereign beings who respect the sovereignty of others.
Currently, we are establishing this–we are open to multiple options, as stated above.

A few people (not elected by the broader community) make the major decisions.
Generally seek agreement, but have backup methods when consensus isn’t reached.
Power and responsibility are shared relatively equally among members.
The model is Quaker Consensus–which is not unanimity, but allows for someone to still not agree, while agreeing to ‘step aside’ and not block forward motion.
Members contribute a percentage of income to community funds.

The economics of the group is negotiable–as stated above, this is a STAGE with a Set already built (structure/buildings/treehouse/gardens/well/house/studio, etc), but we are looking for FOUNDING members.
