Riverflow is a therapeutic intentional community where people with, and people without, intellectual and developmental disabilities live together in a setting that encourages independence and interdependence and celebrates a gentle footprint by living in harmony with the natural world. The community provides integrated lifesharing homes for adults with significant support needs who need a trustworthy environment. Riverflow provides a rich and joyful setting where adults develop lifelong relationships while engaging in meaningful skill-building in vocational crews and studios such as woodworking, gardening, fiber arts, farming, and culinary arts. The goal at Riverflow is to create a world where every community member can grow, feels connected, and is empowered to reach their fullest potential and personal goals.
Riverflow is focused on radical inclusion through community life, disability advocacy, love and care for the earth and each other.

The leadership group at Riverflow is committed to nonviolent communication, restorative practices, collaborative decision-making, and generative leadership. We value the voices and experiences of all community members and have processes in place for feedback to flow in all directions. We create opportunities for all members to contribute their ideas, needs, and wishes to the creation of community practices and values.
Members contribute a percentage of income to community funds.
