Overview

What to look forward to in this webinar:

Creating a world that works for all people and the planet will take an unprecedented level of cooperation. Easier said than done. This workshop will explore the ins and outs of successful group endeavors and enterprises, including intentional communities, worker co-ops, and other collective and community based projects. We’ll look at the interwoven set of interpersonal, cultural, and structural issues that need to be addressed, identify common pitfalls, and discuss best practices.

Sky Blue’s Bio:

Sky Blue (yes, that’s his real name; yes, his parents were hippies) is the Executive Director of the Foundation for Intentional Community. Over the last 20 years, Sky Blue has been a member of Twin Oaks Community, a housing collective, a student housing cooperative, a cohousing community, and two small worker co-operative businesses, and has served or consulted with numerous other groups. He’s visited dozens of communities and cooperatives, in the US and in Europe. He’s worked for the Federation of Egalitarian Communities, and serves on the Council of the Global Ecovillage Network of North America.
