SEPT 1-4, 2025 – Twin Oaks Community – Louisa, Virginia
Created by and for people who live in intentional communities, the convergence is an opportunity to build stronger relationships between intentional communities and the organizations who support them.
Come to network and learn about intentional communities of all kinds — co-housing, co-ops, communes, ecovillages, and more — at one of the best-known intentional communities in North America. Each Labor Day weekend, the Twin Oaks Communities Conference brings together people seeking intentional communities with folks who are already living in them. There are workshops, performances, auctions, presentations and open space technology workshops on any topic. This is the longest running conference on international communities in the nation.
The Convergence of Intentional Communities (CIC), organized for the second year in collaboration between the Foundation for Intentional Community and Twin Oaks, is the dedicated space for community members to converge. If you live or want to live according to the values of cooperation, sustainability, and equality- this event is for you!
