    While we cannot govern individuals’ smoking habits, we are anti-smoking due to health risks, pollution and fire danger.

Our Green Conservation Initiatives
Better In Belize is committed to low-impact development practices and has developed plans to enhance this exquisite, natural environment and protect the remaining intact ecosystems in perpetuity.

More than 50% of Better In Belize’s 130 acres will be preserved and conserved to maintain its natural landscape. Thirty acres will be designated for common area green space and amenities.

In keeping with our mandate of conservation initiatives and sustainable land management, Better In Belize has started to develop organically-minded gardens starting with “Flutter by Finca” which is our 3.3 acre upper Finca which means farm in Spanish.

Our direction is to incorporate Better in Belize into a learning Annex. The topics are endless including solar, wind, water conservation, weather readings, star charting, tree identification, wildlife conservation, wellness programs, medicinal plant usage, trail building, natural cooking, seed harvesting, and gardening that will blend education and adventure in a vibrant habitat rich in natural history and ecological diversity.
