Mission Statement

Evangelical Christian

Community Description

The New Creation Christian Community is part of the Jesus Fellowship Church, which is also known as the Jesus Army. The fellowship is an evangelical Christian church with a contemporary charismatic emphasis. It is orthodox in doctrine, upholding the universally accepted Christian creeds.

The church numbers around 1,800, about 450 of whom live in Christian Community in 60 or so large and small houses around the United Kingdom. Each community house consists of anything between 6 and 25 people, who live as a large “family.”

The businesses, community houses, and other community assets are owned by the members and held in a legally constituted noncharitable Trust Fund. Within the community, each house has a “common-purse” arrangement, with members pooling their income to meet all personal and household expenses.
