I have lived  and worked in Guanajuato City, Guanajuato, Mexico for 20 years. I am looking for people to  join me in starting a small (10-14 person) cohousing project, couples or singles ages 30-60.

The  communal house (3 bedroom/2 bath), garage/workshop/apartment is located in an ecological zone on a mountaintop overlooking the city on one side and the Presa Soledad (reservoir) on the other. There is ample land for building cottages. Twenty minutes to city center, 40 minutes to international airport (BJX), 50 minutes to large city (Leon).

Guanajuato is the state capital, a university town, and World Heritage Site. The annual Festival Internacional Cervantino  is the largest international arts festival in Latin America.  It has a small, but active expat community, a full-time professional symphony orchestra,  museums, a vibrant arts scene, beautiful theaters and colonial architecture. The climate is high desert with warm days and cool nights.  For more photos and information, please e-mail [email protected] and please be sure to include your contact information. (I have gotten emails through no-reply expressing interest, but unable to reply to them if they don’t include email address.)  Thanks!
