Background:

Horton and York Cooperative is an intentional urban co-housing community nestled at the foot of Mt Baker ridge.  Since October 2017, we have been renovating this 1920s, 6-Unit Building with all new systems.  We are nearing completion and open to new members interested in a cooperative living environment.

Horton and York Cooperative lives in a former 5-unit apartment building with an attached storefront.  We have 6 individual dwelling units consisting of 3 one-bedroom units, 2 two-bedroom units and 1 studio unit.  Currently (2) one-bedroom units and one (1) two-bedroom unit are available.

As a cooperative housing corporation, members own shares in the corporation and have a proprietary lease for a specific unit.  Currently, three of the six units are available for sale as shares, at square foot prices corresponding to the unit sizes.  Your shares may be purchased with a mortgage through a qualified lender, and sold like any other real estate.
