Silver Sage Village is a vibrant, active adult cohousing community.  Residents enjoy a wonderful senior life-style. Silver Sage Village has sixteen units, all owner-occupied.  Every home has at least two bedrooms, a living room, a dining area and a kitchen. Larger homes have additional rooms, lofts and/or finished basements.  Silver Sage Village has a lush courtyard and a large common house. It’s an easy walk from Silver Sage Village to open space trails, cafes, restaurants and 2 buses to downtown.  All local bus transportation is free because the community provides everyone a bus pass.

The unit for sale is 1600 Yellow Pine Ave.  It is a gorgeous, spacious, energy efficient home with many windows, closets and other storage.  Some windows face south and west and some windows have tinted film to reduce sun effects. It is a very sunny unit.  It is an end unit with 2 direct entries from street level. The ground floor level has cathedral ceilings, quality wool-carpet-tile-hardwood floors.  Beech wood kitchen cabinets, a pantry closet, granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath. A generous living room area and an office area. Owners within Silver Sage Village are automatically Members of the Home Owners Association.  As such they own an undivided 1/16th of all the common areas including a fabulous Common House with a sitting area equipped with a fire place, a TV-Library room, a gourmet Kitchen, a dining room, a meditation room, a craft room, a laundry room and an exercise room.  They also have an assigned storage area (approximately 60sq ft) in the Common House basement. On the Silver Sage grounds, they have access to a wood shop, a bike shed, a garden shed and an upper and lower patio area as well as a beautifully landscaped garden area.  Owners are required to participate in cohousing., typically 1 team meeting/month (2 hrs) and 1 community meeting/month (2 hrs).

The city of Boulder has a population of approximately 100,000.  The University of Colorado has its main campus in Boulder. Although small, Boulder has all the shopping and dining amenities of a much larger city.  Schools and health care are second to none. Outdoor activities include biking, running, walking, hiking, kayaking, and at some small distance, skiing/snowboarding.  Boulder enjoys about 320 days of sunshine each year.
