Which stage is your tribe?

It turns out that by listening to the way people speak to each other in working and social groups one can tell a great deal about their stage cultural of development.

David Logan, a researcher and professor of management and leadership at USC, and co-founder and senior partner of consulting firm CultureSync, studies how people communicate and what this reveals about their group and it’s potential.

He has discovered 5 distinct levels of cultural maturation, which result in greater cooperation, productivity, and positivity as it goes up the scale. His hope is that by understanding our tribal tendencies we can help to lead each other to be more effective and fulfilled.
