Season's Greetings! We're sending an abbreviated eNews this month as there's simply too much happening around our offices right now: holiday preparations. vacations, winter power outages, computer crashes, new computer installations, etc. We should be back with a full issue in January, including our customary eNews book specials. ________________________________________________________________ 1 COMMUNITIES MAGAZINE and DIRECTORY UPDATES * PLEASE NOTE ! ________________________________________________________________ Ordinarily, we publish Communities magazine four times a year. This year wešll do it five times. Issue #119 Fall 2003 is a regular issue that was sent to all subscribers in late November. For complicated reasons, we've produced a special extra issue #120 which is now out and has been sent only to subscribers who *also* subscribe to Annual Directory Updates. This special issue will not count as part of a normal paid 4- or 8- or 12- issue subscription. Most subscribers thus will see an odd numbering gap, receiving #119 and not long after that #121, but they'll still receive the number of issues paid for. Directory Updates subscribers who are not magazine subscribers will receive #120 as well since it contains Directory Updates 2003 (actually contains all updates through and including 2003.) That's the short of it. For a detailed explanation please email order ( at ) ic ( dot ) org with QUESTION RE: #120 in the subject line. ________________________________________________________________ 2 COMMUNITIES MAGAZINE Issue Themes ________________________________________________________________ Here's the Communities issue theme lineup through next spring #119 Fall 2003 Right Livelihood in Community - current issue #120 Special issue as explained above #121 Winter 2003 Thriving in Community - mails next week #122 Spring 2004 The Community Seekers' Guide Get a sample issue, renew or subscribe here http://store.ic.org/products/communities-magazine.html http://store.ic.org/products/communities-magazine-sampl.html Sample issues by surface mail $6 US - $7 Canada - $8 Other Subscriptions one year 4 issues $20 US - $24 Canada - $26 Other Order by phone fax or mail FIC * 138 Twin Oaks Rd * Louisa VA 23093 800-995-8342 fax 540-894-4112 ________________________________________________________________ 3 Online CALENDARS at the WWW.IC.ORG INFORMATION WEBSITE ________________________________________________________________ Visitors to www.ic.org will be able to find quite a lot of information about upcoming as well as past events.
