From Grunge to Green - New FIC Office!
Making the Shift from Grunge to Green
by Laird Schaub, for the Fellowship Board
Are you triskaidekaphobic -- afraid of the number 13?
I'm not. In fact, FIC is rolling the dice and looking for 13 to come up as our lucky number! Here's how you can help make that happen.
You know the value of the work done by the Fellowship for Intentional Community to bring the hope and inspiration of cooperative living to a world drowning in alienation and fragmentation.
We've just entered 2013 and I want to make 13 our lucky number. FIC has been waving the flag of community for 26 years (13 years in the old millennium and 13 years in this one) and I'm asking you to help us succeed with our crowdfunding campaign to raise $45,000 by Jan 25 to build a new FIC office, replacing our ramshackle '70s era house trailer.

In addition to making a donation yourself, I'm asking you to contact 13 of your good friends--people who get it about what community can mean in today's world--asking each of them to donate $13 to the campaign.
Together, we can do this!
--Laird and the FIC Board & Staff
P.S. If we get 130 people to convince 13 of their friends to each give $13 we'll be half way there! To make it easier to pass this appeal along, feel free to copy and paste portions of this message, personalizing it as appropriate. The important thing is that you pass it along and urge your friends to do so also.
