is now home to Gaia Education's 5-week Ecovillage Design
Education curriculum.
Ecovillage
Education
is a five-week trans-disciplinary experiential program set
within one
of the US’ leading ecovillages—Dancing
Rabbit, in Rutledge, MO. Join some of the world's leading
sustainability
educators to develop your capacity for creating or enhancing
communities
and projects using social, economic and ecological
sustainability lessons
learned in the worlds’ most sustainable communities.
Course dates: June
29–August
5, 2012
This course is for you if you are…
- forming an ecovillage, cohousing, commune, co-op or
Transition Town
- working on any sustainability-focused project in your
existing
community
- seeking ways to improve or expand your existing
community's social
dynamics, ecological footprint or economic model
- a student (undergrad or graduate) of sustainable
community
- a sustainability leader or want to become one
- an educator or wish to teach about sustainable community
development
- someone who desires personal growth or a really awesome
ecovillage immersion experience this summer!
