Intentional Communities Newsletter: March 19, 2011

The FIC has just released the 6th edition of the Communities Directory, and we still have copies of the 5th edition. Rather than let those still-valuable resources sit in boxes, you can help us place them in libraries around North America. For every $10 donated we will mail a copy of the 2007 Directory to the library or resource center of your choice. Our goal is to place 200 Directories between now & May 11th.

The Communities Directory is a comprehensive guide with information, maps and charts on over a thousand intentional communities, including ecovillages, co-ops, communes & cohousing. Each Directory placed in a library is another resource for people searching for a more cooperative, sustainable way of life.

If you know which library, info shop or resource center you’d like to be the recipient of your donated Directory, please leave a note listing the name and address. If you want to help but don't care which library gets the book, we'll find one for you.
